SEND Nursery
SEND nursery in Southall, Hanwell and Ealing
Specialist provision in a calm, structured, purpose-built setting, with a 1 adult to 3 children ratio.

The Nurture Nest is not a standard nursery. We operate as both a nursery and an early intervention centre, providing a highly supported environment for children with additional needs, including autism, social communication differences, speech and language delay, sensory processing differences, global developmental delay and emotional or behavioural needs.
Our environment is carefully designed to meet the needs of children with developmental differences, social or emotional challenges and sensory sensitivities. It is calm, structured and filled with opportunities for play, exploration and growth.

What parents say
5.0★★★★★Google · 2 reviewsWe honestly couldn't be more impressed with this nursery. It's so refreshing to see a setting that is SEN-focused while being genuinely inclusive and welcoming to every child. It feels like they've created an environment where every child is seen as an individual and their needs are understood and supported. The nursery is exceptionally clean, bright and welcoming, with so much thought put into the imaginative play and activities. What really stands out is the level of one-to-one attention they give to each child.
The facilities at the nurture nest are outstanding! I have been coming to the stay and play for around 6 months with my 2 year old as I was slightly concerned that he was delayed in his speech.
Questions parents ask
Do you take children with autism?
Yes. Many of our children are autistic or awaiting assessment. Our founders have years of experience in Ealing’s SEND and Inclusion Team and in autism-specialist settings.
Does my child need an EHCP to attend?
No. We welcome children with and without an EHCP and can support you through the application if it is right for your child.
Can we use funded hours at a SEND nursery?
Yes. 15 and 30 funded hours are accepted. Because of our 1:3 ratio and embedded therapy a SEND Specialist Support Fee applies instead of session fees: £80 to £160 a week for 15 hours depending on age.
Do you offer Stay & Play for children with additional needs?
Yes, our free Stay & Play on Mondays 10:00–11:30 is open to everyone and a gentle way to meet the team before committing.
