Welcome to The Nurture Nest

The Nurture Nest is a safe, nurturing, inclusive early years setting in Southall, on the Hanwell and Ealing border.

At The Nurture Nest we do more than care for children. We take the time to truly know them, nurture their strengths and help them grow in confidence and independence.

Our goal is to give every child the foundations they need to become happy, confident and enthusiastic learners, ready to take their next big step into school.

We are here to support you and your little ones every step of the way, no matter where they are in their development journey.

What makes us different to other nurseries?

We offer higher staff-to-child ratios. More time, more attention, more opportunities to thrive, giving every child the confidence, independence and foundations they need to succeed.

The Nurture Nest is more than a setting. It is a promise. A promise to see where your child is today, believe in where they can go, and give them everything they need to keep moving forward.

We take the time to understand your child, celebrate their strengths and focus on their next steps. Because at The Nurture Nest every little step forward matters.

Our nursery

How we work

We honestly couldn't be more impressed with this nursery. It's so refreshing to see a setting that is SEN-focused while being genuinely inclusive and welcoming to every child. It feels like they've created an environment where every child is seen as an individual and their needs are understood and supported. The nursery is exceptionally clean, bright and welcoming, with so much thought put into the imaginative play and activities. What really stands out is the level of one-to-one attention they give to each child.

The facilities at the nurture nest are outstanding! I have been coming to the stay and play for around 6 months with my 2 year old as I was slightly concerned that he was delayed in his speech.

Questions parents ask

Where is The Nurture Nest?

We are at 5 William Close, Southall, London UB2 4UP, on the Hanwell and Southall border just off Windmill Lane near Three Bridges. Hanwell station (Elizabeth line) is about three quarters of a mile away and there are three drop-off parking bays at the front of the nursery.

What ages do you take?

Children from 9 months to school age. We accept 15 and 30 funded hours for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds, and private sessions for all ages.

Is The Nurture Nest only for children with special educational needs?

No. We are an Ofsted-registered day nursery that is SEND-focused and genuinely inclusive: every child benefits from the 1:3 ratio, the sensory room and the individualised programme, whether or not they have a diagnosis.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with nursery sessions running 9:00am to 4:00pm. We are closed at weekends, on bank holidays and for two weeks at Christmas, two at Easter and three in the summer.

How much does it cost?

A full day (9am to 4pm) is £120 and a morning or afternoon session is £60, fully inclusive of our specialist provision. On funded places you pay a SEND Specialist Support Fee instead of session fees: from £80 a week for 15 hours. See our fees and funding page for the full table.

Can I visit before I decide?
